Dr. Mangum is a Family Practice physician utilizing functional and integrative medicine. In addition to reviewing a standard Western medical history, he conducts an extensive and comprehensive review of a patients current diet, sleep, supplements, exercise routines, home and work environments, habits and lifestyle.
Dr. Mangum relies on a wide variety of medical lab tests. His tool kit includes far more comprehensive blood testing than is usually done by conventional Western medical practitioners, comprehensive digestive stool analysis, saliva, hair, urine screens and more. Dr. Mangum's treatment approach uses a combination of: education, diet, nutrition, minerals, supplements, Chinese and Western herbs, bio-identical hormone therapy, acupuncture, massage and Western allopathic medications, when necessary.
